Professional Systems, Inc provides a range of information technology services to the Brian Piccolo Specialty School of The Chicago Public School System. These services include:

• Consulting Services
• Network management and maintenance services.
• Hardware and software support for Servers and PCs throughout classrooms, computer labs, and libraries.
• Management and maintenance of fiber and copper wiring infrastructure (MDF/IDF)
• Support of existing wide area network and High Speed T1 based Internet Link

• LAN Expansion Via Fiber Optic Cabling. Professional Systems expanded the Piccolo LAN bringing 12 additional classrooms on-line by connections them via fiber optic lines from the MDF room to each classroom. We minimized cost by using copper/fiber optic media conversion equipment to connect the fiber optic cabling to the LAN at the MDF.
• Implementation of Shared Print Services using MS 2000 Server to provide centralized printing and management for Student computer labs.
• Connected the Library to the LAN/WAN/Internet and implemented shared printing services for the library¹s 16 PCs.
