As part of the Gary Urban Enterprise Associations commitment to provide program
that support the continued development of the Gary area while positively impacting
the quality of life for its residents they created the Urban Construction and
Training Center to provide job skills training in the and trade and technical
fields. Professional Systems, Inc is working with GUEA by providing a range
of Information Technology services to support the Training Center.

Urban Construction and Training Center
The following is a list of services Professional Systems, Inc. provides for the Urban Construction
and Training Center:
Computer Aided Design (CAD) Lab - Professional Systems implemented a fully
networked Computer Aided Design (CAD) Lab complete with high-speed Internet
access to all student PCs. This included installing CAT5 Cabling and Electrical
wiring in premise raceways to support 16 Personal Computers. Additionally we
outfitted the lab with CAD certified Dell Optiplex PCs. Also included was
implementation of a high speed Hewlett Packard Color Design Jet Plotter onto
the MS 2000 Network.
WAN Connectivity - As a new branch of the Gary Urban Enterprise Association,
Professional Systems, Inc provided connectivity to their Wide Area Network
via a routed T1 link. This included integrating users onto the MS Exchange
communication network and GUEA main shared applications.
CAD Training - The Computer Training division of Professional Systems, Inc.
is currently contracted by to GUEA to provide comprehensive CAD training services
that include customized curriculum development and a certified full time CAD
instructor. Students at UTC are receiving Quality technical training comparable
to that offered at other universities.
